A unison suite for beginning string players. String parts include four notes, D, E F#, A, and two rhythmic values, quarter and half notes. The piano part is important in creating the impressions. The piano part is about grade 3. Included in the download is a piano score, and parts for Violin, Viola and Cello-Bass. Also included are program notes and a map of downtown Charleston, SC, showing the locations depicted in the suite.

This suite includes four movements in various jazz styles, about 16 measures per movement. It is appropriate for concert performance.
